Networking event for Slovenian and Flemish researchers

The Slovenian Research Agency (ARRS), the Research Foundation Flanders (FWO), and the Slovenian Business and Research Association (SBRA) cordially invite you to a networking event exclusively designed for researchers from Slovenia and Flanders.

For several years now, Slovenia and Flanders have been publishing public calls for scientific cooperation between the Slovenian and Flemish researchers, with the purpose of strengthening bilateral research in all scientific domains. In order to make it easier for researchers from Flanders and Slovenia to enter into partnerships with one another, the networking event on the 28th of November 2022 in Brussels (Leuvenseweg 38, 1000 Brussels) will offer the perfect setting and opportunity. The Slovenian researchers will represent a variety of research fields. Before the event itself, all participants will receive a catalogue with short descriptions and contacts of the participating Slovenian researchers to facilitate the match-making.

Furthermore, during the event we will shortly present the two respective research agencies (ARRS and FWO), the call for proposal for bilateral research cooperation, as well as several best practices examples of already funded projects with Slovenian and Flemish researchers. The event is specifically designed to matchmaking and bilateral meetings between researchers who would like to propose joint projects.
